Cycling on Lolland-Falster is simply wonderful!
Look forward to flat and bike-friendly islands and cycling along the dikes, visiting manor houses and associated farm shops, enjoying the peaceful nature and experiencing culture and history.
There are many well-marked cycling routes on the two islands.
These include, for example, shorter, local trips such as the well-known "Sundruten", which is on Falster around Guldborgsund.
Or you can take a detour to the islands of Femø and Fejø. Kragenæs ferry port is only 8 km away. from Pederstrup Bed & Breakfast.
Longer trips, including three of the national cycling routes, also cross the islands. One of them is the beautiful "Baltic Sea Cycling Route", which is a total of 820 km long. There are many things worth seeing on the stretch around Lolland.
Tip: Download the free Naturlandet Lolland-Falster app. There you will find several route suggestions and experience tips. The content is written in German, Danish and English.
Incidentally: We at Pederstrup Bed & Breakfast are part of “Cykelvennerne”, an association of people in Denmark who support cyclists. If you need help on your cycling holiday, all these volunteer cycling friends are ready to help you on your way. On their website you can see where you can find the “Cykelvenner” of the Danish South Sea Islands.
