About Lolland-Falster

Forest, Water and Expanse

Lolland-Falster

The islands, which are connected by bridges and tunnels, are located in southeastern Denmark and have a lot to offer.

Beach, nature and active holidaymakers can have fun and feel just as at home on Lolland - the country's fourth largest island - as on Falster.

The unique nature parks on the two South Sea islands provide the basis for wonderful experiences.

Nakskov Fjord and Maribo Lake Reserve, for example, offer fascinating viewpoints, unique wildlife, surprising cultural history and fantastic beaches.

Together, the islands have 600 km of coastline - including numerous lovely beaches.

If you like cycling, Lolland-Falster is the right place for you. A well-developed network of routes winds across both islands, so you can easily reach everything worth seeing and experiencing.

Decide for yourself what you are after: whether it is nature, culture, gastronomy or action.

Perfect for a short holiday:

Lolland-Falster and the islands in the Småland Sea are perfect for a long weekend. With many attractions and short distances, you can easily fill your days with experiences – or just as easily enjoy the peace and quiet.

A trip to Copenhagen is also worth a visit: Lolland-Falster has good connections by bus and train, and you can get there in under four hours.

It's much faster by car: From Pederstrup Bed & Breakfast it only takes two hours to get to the Danish capital.
